The National Trust has announced that it will keep many of its treasured gardens and parks open to visitors during the Covid-19 pandemic and will be free to enter.
The incredible gesture from the charity will allow visitors to enjoy an idyllic spring walk whilst continuing to practise social distancing. It will close all cafes and shops, leaving the grounds open for roaming, a place to relax and refresh during these difficult times.
Properties that will remain open close to Manchester include Lyme Park, Dunham Massey and Styal Mill. Please visit the National Trust for updates on opening times before visiting. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/
